Individual Therapy: Do you feel alone? Maybe you feel sad, anxious, or angry and can't figure out how to shake those feelings and get on with your life. Perhaps you get overwhelmed by it all and cope in ways that aren't as healthy as they could be and you are ready to get help to change those behaviors. I will work hard to understand your world. I can help you begin to untangle those confusing thoughts and feelings. I will help you look at the way you care for yourself so you can make changes and start to feel better.
Couples/Family Therapy: Do you have painful fights with your partner? Is it hard to be intimate they way you were when you met? I can help you increase your communication with your partner. We will address topics that have become too loaded so you begin to feel closer again. It is extremely painful when family life isn't going the way we wish it was. I know how to work with different members of a family system. I will help family members start talking to each other about what's bothering them instead of acting it out.
Group Therapy: Do you beat yourself up? Are you too self-conscious to relax and be yourself when you are with other people? Do you sometimes let people overrun you instead of speaking up for what you need and want? I have specialized training to support you as you practice new ways of feeling and acting in a dynamic setting with your peers. You will be amazed by how quickly group work makes the rest of your life better.
