Individual Therapy: Do you feel alone? Maybe you feel sad, anxious, or angry and can't figure out how to shake those feelings and get on with your life. Perhaps you get overwhelmed by it all and cope in ways that aren't as healthy as they could be and you are ready to get help to change those behaviors. I will work hard to understand your world. I can help you begin to untangle those confusing thoughts and feelings. I will help you look at the way you care for yourself so you can make changes and start to feel better.
Family/Couple Support Meetings: Do you have painful repetitive fights with your partner? Is it hard for you to be close the way you were when you met? Are you in a time of change and potential transition? I can help you begin to increase your communication with the important people in your life. We will identify topics that have become too loaded for you to talk about. I will support you to verbalize what's bothering you instead of acting it out. It's very common for people who come to family/couple support meetings to decide they want to get therapy for themselves. I will support everyone to follow through with finding a provider for their own individual work.
Group Therapy: Do you beat yourself up? Are you too self-conscious to relax and be yourself when you are with other people? Do you sometimes let people overrun you instead of speaking up for what you need and want? I have specialized training to support you as you practice new ways of feeling and acting in a dynamic setting with your peers. You will be amazed by how quickly group work makes the rest of your life better.
